History of FCPCS
The Florida Consortium of Public Charter Schools (FCPCS) was founded as a grassroots organization in 1999 by five of Florida’s earliest charter school operators. After receiving numerous requests for help from new charter schools, the group decided to form a statewide charter school consortium that would provide a range of technical assistance services to Florida charter schools and their stakeholders. Since that time, FCPCS has grown to be one of the largest and most influential charter school associations in the nation.
FCPCS is governed by a diverse board of Florida charter school operators who understand firsthand the day-to-day challenges of running a charter school.
